What We Do
By providing youth with strong adult mentors and a continuum of support, youth will be more likely to attain higher education and break the cycle of poverty for their families
Making Schools Better
EBAYC’s comprehensive after-school programs operate daily during the academic school year and complement school day curriculum. Our after-school programs offer a wide menu of programming that includes homework support, mentoring, case management, enrichment workshops, college and career workshops, and more. Our after school programs are designed for grade-specific elementary, middle school, and high school students and are customized to each of our partner schools. Click here to learn more.
Case Management and Outreach
EBAYC’s Street Team provides intensive support to 100 youth, primarily ages 15 to 18, who are on court-ordered probation. The Street Team provides intensive case management, facilitates therapeutic activity groups, and places youth in internships. We work with each youth until he or she successfully exits probation and is on a solid path toward self-sufficiency. Click here to learn more.
Creating Vibrant Neighborhoods
EBAYC organizes families across race, culture, and language to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods. We help families build relationships with each other through leadership training, research and advocacy activities, and public actions. Click here to learn more.
Serving the Central Valley
EBAYC was given the opportunity to expand our organization regionally, thanks to the generous support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Our expansion into the Central Valley region was fueled by our organizational commitment to serve young people who live in high-need neighborhoods with a significant population of Asian families. Our pilot services in Sacramento and in Fresno have been strongly embraced by the youth and parent communities there. Click here to learn more.
