Oakland High Students on the Culture and Climate Team wants to organize a school-wide field day on May 29, 2019. They recognize that despite the challenges that students and staff face in and outside of school, they find it valuable to uplift and provide opportunities for both students and staff to positively engage and celebrate our school community.
In the past, we had community building days just for 9th grade students & teachers on the field; however, this will be the first in the last 10 years that we are aware of that we are doing a field day for all students and staff! This is close to 1,600 students and 100+ teachers/ staff. We will have organized sports, performances, refreshments, and carnival games.
Your financial support will help us purchase refreshments, and rental fees for obstacle bounce course, hamster balls, video game truck, and other entertainment to look and feel like a field day!
