Prompted by Vietnamese and Chinese parent demand, EBAYC established summer and after-school learning programs at Franklin Elementary School. More recently, Franklin parents, teachers, and administrators have expressed urgent concern about the major influx of street-level sex-trafficking around the school. EBAYC, in partnership with the San Antonio Family Resource Center Parent Action Research Team and Trybe, has been supporting Franklin parents to organize their collective voice and power to hold city and county governments accountable for improved public health and safety.
